This page of our website is dedicated to players and enthusiasts of Danelectro guitars and basses, as well as similar (and sometimes identical) instruments made by the Danelectro company and sold under different brand names. Many famous players including Jimmy Page, Syd Barrett, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton and George Harrison have used Danelectros over the years because they are very distinctive instruments that offer unique sounds you can't get from other guitars.
While we're not officially a service center for Danelectro Guitars we've amassed a great deal of valuable experience by working on them, from setups to electronics work and myriad other repairs, and we have access to a wide range of genuine replacement parts for Danelectro Guitars and Basses. Most of the Danelectros that are available today are either reproduced from or inspired by Nathan Daniel's groundbreaking original designs, and they are some of the coolest looking and best sounding instruments in the world. We've worked on modern and vintage Danelectro and Silvertone guitars, so if your prized Dano is in need of a good pit stop look no further than Jade Guitars!
We'll be posting more photos, info and other stuff on this page, not just of Danelectros but also Harmony, Silvertone, Kay and other brands made by Danelectro - keep checking back if you're an admirer! And if you have a Danelectro guitar, bass or amp for sale, call us - we'll buy it from you!

Many of our Dano customers ask us the same questions about how to improve their guitars, but the most common one is how they can improve the tuning stability. The more recent reissues from China have better die-cast tuners but unfortunately the stock tuners on many of the 90's reissues were cheaper, open-geared units with metal covers that did not hold tune very well. The only real solution to this is to replace the tuners altogether and we highly recommend using the tuners pictured below:
These modern repro tuners are similar to the Klusons that were used on many guitars in the 50's and 60's including a lot of Danelectros, Silvertones. Their tuning stability is far superior to the stock tuners on 90's reissue Danelectros, and with their nickel plating and off-white buttons they will preserve the vintage look and vibe of your Dano.
